Wednesday, April 16, 7pm, UC forums: Day of Silence!! Our speaker this year is Maya Keyes, daughter of politician and radio show host Alan Keyes. She was kicked out of her home after coming out, and now advocates for homeless LGBT youth. There will be some dessert and mingling after her talk. We have ordered Day of Silence shirts, and they will be available starting Monday, April 14th. We will also have a bake sale from 12-1pm Monday, April 14th - Wednesday, April 16th.

Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back!
